Descrizione
Martin Strings offer the MA540FX Phosphor Bronze strings for acoustic steel-string guitars. Part of the Flexible Core Series, these strings have a thin core for ultimate control over each string and a nice, light feel that allows for easy note bending and is less fatiguing for your fingers. Comfort with sacrificing tone, is what Martin call it. This particular set of strings is known as 'Tommy's Choice", seeing as it's Tommy Emmanuel's favourite!

Ik speel al een aantal jaren op deze snaren en zij bevallen uitstekend. Soepel, blijven lang helder klinken en spelen makkelijk weg. Een aanrader.

Top snaren. Ik had eerst altijd fender light snaren, maar deze hebben een helderdere klank naar mijn idee.

Fijne snaren. Mooi vol warme klank, met genoeg "frisheid" in de tonen. Ze zijn prettig te bespelen en gaan best wel even mee (mits goed verzorgd, maar dat geld voor alles natuurlijk). Een fijn produkt dus.

Het zijn fijne zachte snaren voor de speelvingers linkerhand (voor de linkshandige de speelvingers rechterhand 🙂). Maar voor mij hebben deze snaren te weinig kracht/geluid. Had iets meer power in gemogen. Dus vraag ik mij af of Tommy Emmanuel deze snaren echt gebruikt omdat hij zo'n krachtige speler is en daar lenen deze snaren zich niet voor. Ach ja, snarenpraat... waar de een bij zweert heeft de ander zijn bedenkingen. Hoe dan ook zeker geen slechte snaren en de beginnende gitarist zal hier zeker plezier aan beleven omdat ze zo heerlijk zacht zijn.
